Every Monday night is Tween Club! Kids in grades 5 - 8 are welcome to join for snacks, crafts, games. Register for free at any branch to save your spot!
Children are learning language and other important skills from the time they are infants. Developing these early literacy skills makes it easier for children to read once they begin school. Join us for reading, writing, talking, singing and playing - the five fundamental skills that get children Ready to Read! All ages welcome Drop In On alternate weeks this event is run in partnership with the EarlyON Parent Literacy Council.
Volunteer Doryne Levere will teach knitting to interested men and women ages 16 and up. All yarn and needles necessary will be provided, though people are welcome to donate, or bring their own. They use the local history area of the library for the best light.
