Food for Fines

A popular tradition that benefits you, the library and the community. During Library Week, we will accept non-perishable food items in lieu of current or past overdue fines, at the rate of $5 per item, up to a maximum of $50. Items are then donated to area food pantries. OCT 15 — 22 • DURING LIBRARY HOURS • ALL BRANCHES

Homework Help

Students from K - 8 can drop in to receive one-on-one tutoring with their homework, and participate in educational extracurricular activities. Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm Friday 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm Students from K to grade 8 register at 905-871-2546 ext. 311 or Teen volunteers interested in tutoring can contact Janine Warren at 905-871-2546 ext. 311

Knitting for Tweens

Doryne Levere will teach knitting to interested tweens ages 10 - 15. All yarn and needles necessary will be provided, though people are welcome to donate, or bring their own. They use the meeting room whenever it is available.
