Bob Allen, lefty, was honored with the J.B. Smith award for top sponsor at an air cadet squadron in Ontario. Cadet squadrons Commander George Balch presented the trophy and keeper plaque.
A plaque was given to Fort Erie Secondary School in memory or Orville Weaver, its former principal. The plaque was donated by Diane and Ray Peddle (seatred), Scott and Shawn Peddle, Fred Backshall and Ellen Merrin. Principal Norman Pring accepted the plaque.
