Mr . Howe was five years old when he came to Fort Erie virl th his parents .
His father was employed with the N. Y. central .
He attended public school here and continuation school at Phipp and Â·
after school took a job Viii th the
N. Y. C.railraod . He left tl:e
and took a job with the Pierce Arrow Plan~ in Buffalo N.Y. After a t i me
he took a job with the Grand Trunk. Railroad where he became chief clerk
in the car de partment â€¢â€¢ He kept this job till 192? when he went into the
Insurance buBiness with I'-ifr. Glenny as his :partner. This partnershi p was
desolved and he went into the business on his own ..
In 1924 he entered politics, and served on the co1m~i1. fro m 192~.- 192'5 â€¢
