New church
opens doors
to all peoples

Fort Erie has a new church,
Church for All Nations, located
at the corner of Bertie and Stanton Streets.
Purcha,sed in 1973 by Christian Aid Mission, an incorporated registered federal charity, the building has been used
by the air cadets prior to being
converted to its present use,
said James Eagles, president
of Christian Aid.
The church was started as a
mission outreach and sets as its
goals speading the gospel
throughout the community and
reaching foreign visitors with
the gospel, "whether they're
here as students, businessmen
or just tourists."
While the church is located at
80 Bertie St., adjacent to the
Christian Aid Mission, the parsonage is located at 223 Stanton
St.
"We have foreign people-coming across the border to see the
falls," aaid Mr_ Eagles. ''.Probably a lot of people don't believe
their own back yard is a mission field."
Between 1973 and 1975, the
building was used for mission
Â· work, and a couple of pastors in
town used it for independent
