Surrounded by his family, David passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday April 25th, 2013 at the age of 62. I Best friend and husband of Carrie (nee Cardwell) . Proud father of Jessica (Michael) Folino, Katie (1999) and Nick Benner. Loving grandfather of Katie and Stella. Devoted son of Phil and Ethel Benner, cherished brother of Brian (Sheree) , Peter (Kathy ) and Rebecca (Chris) Parton and nephew of Trudie Benner. Beloved son-in­ law of Richard and Gloria Cardwell and brother-in-law of Carlee (Chad) Alderson. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. David's education, a BA from Wilfrid Laurier University along with a Bachelor and Masters of Education from Brock University provided the foundation for his lifelong career in Education. David was a tireless advocate for students in Speci�I Education, continually fighting for their right to access the best possible learning experience. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Monday afternoon at 1 o�clock.
