Loving husband to Pauline (Boileau), proud father of Tammy Hamilton (friend Ernie Smith), Gorduri (Carol) van der Grinten and Kelly (Chet) Popadziuk. Admired and loved by his grandchildren, Alexander, Matthew (Siobhan), Lindsay, Erika, Mitchell, Kyle and Tristan. Also survived by his sisters in law, Greta van der Grinten and Claire (Jerry) Falcinoni, by nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. Predeceased by his brother Fred. A member of Saint Michael's Parish, a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, he served 2 terms on the Fort Erie town council. Gord sold Sünnibilt & Colonial Homes and drove school bus for the W.C.S.S Board for 30 years. Always a smile, a wave and a joke to be told, a friend to many, BENNER FUNERAL SERVICES, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Friday January 31st, from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church.
