            <text>VALVO, Ross -It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved, husband, father and grandfather. Rosario James Valvo (Ross) passed away Monday, March 21, 2005 at Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie, Ontario. Ross is the beloved husband of 61 years of Dolores Ann Valvo (Ferdinandi) and the cherished father of Wendy Ann Valvo and Richard L. Valvo (Lynda). He is the proud Papa of Amanda Hoyle (Jeremy), Daniel James (DJ) Hicks (Patti Hooper) and Dion Reinhart, and the much adored great grandfather of Erin Mae Hoyle. Ross is survived by his dear brother Albert, his sister in-law Mary Drury and several nieces and nephews. He was "Uncle Sugar" to his loving niece Robin Parisi, her daughters Karrie Matyjas and Becky Sandel, and many of Robin's friends. He is predeceased by his brother Russell and his sister Florence O'Sullivan. Ross is a former trustee of the Welland County Roman Catholic School Board, Ã  former Grand Knight of the Immaculate Conception Council #3320 of the Knights of Columbus, a past Faithful Navigator of the Knights of Columbus, a former District Deputy of the Knights of Columbus and a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow. Ross retired from Provincial Gas Company and in his retirement years was a security guard with the Fort Erie Race Track. BENNER FUNERAL SERVICES, 1105 Benner Road, Fort Erie, Ontario entrusted with arrangements. The family received their friends on Tuesday. Funeral Mass was held at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Central Avenue, Fort Erie on Wednesday March 23, 2005 at 11:00am. Parish Prayers were conducted at the Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Cremation followed. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or a charity of your choice. &#13;
