Etty van der Sluis, beloved wife and companion of Henry for over 60 years and loving mother of Henry (Carolyn), Lisa (Steve) Duckhart and Peter (Sandra). Much loved grandmother of Jason, Julia, Jonathan, Chelsea and Sarah. Predeceased by her son John in 1971. Born in Surhuisterveen, Friesland, Holland on July 11. in 1922, Mrs. van der Sluis was the last of eleven children born to the Schuilenga family and moved to Canada in 1949. She had a great love of nature and gardening and was a member of Drummond Hill Presbyterian Church. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of THE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME on Thursday afternoon at 1:30. Interment took place in St. John's (Ridgemount) Cemetery.
