SMITH, Clarence (Smitty) - On Tuesday March 2, 2010 Clarence passed away peacefully at the Urgent Care Centre, Fort Erie at the age of 85 years. Loving husband of the late Irene Smith (neer Carver). Beloved father of Faye Davis (the late Laurie), Bev Elliot, Brian (Wanda), Larry, Joye Smith, Dave, Diane (Jerry) Wagner, Lorrie (Tim) Chute, Heather Seyeau (the late Richard), Darryl (Mariel), Crystal Smith and Derek. Clarence will be sadly missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and by his sister Kaye Rayson. Smitty was predeceased by his parents Clayton and Jessie Smith of Quebec, by his brothers Melbourne, Bill and Buddy and by his sister Jean. Friends may call at THE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, 722 Ridge Road N., Ridgeway on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services under the auspices of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #230 will be held on Friday evening at 7 o'clock. A service to celebrate his life will take place on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at the funeral home. Private interment will take place at a later date.
