With Strings Through the Ages the NSO String Quartet brings a history of music to life.

An engaging program of string quartet music that brings listeners on an adventure exploring music throughout the ages - from the Renaissance to the 20th century and beyond. This hour-long program designed for third-age listeners includes instrument demonstrations, performances of a range of repertoire, and an opportunity for questions and discussion with the musicians of the quartet.

Join us for an evening of classical music by two incredibly talented musicians. Deborah Greitzer has been a member of the first violin section of the buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra for more than 30 years. She will be joined be violist Virgina Barron a veteran of the Chicago Symphony, Toronto Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic, Milwaukee Symphony, Lyric Opera Orchestra, the Canadian Opera Company Orchestra, and the Chicago Symphony. From Mozart to Handel, these pieces are light and entertaining.
