WILLIAM ZAHN William Lucas Zahn of 3 Madison St., Fort Erie died suddenly and peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital on May 16, 1990. Born in Fort Erie on January 2, 1906 he was retired, in 1972, as manager of Pratt & Lambert Inc. after 46 years service. A lifelong resident here Mr. Zahn was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 71, and Fort Erie Fire Co. No. 1 / SEE) for 50 years. Predeceased by his first wife, Herma, he is survived by his wife, Patricia Zahn; his sons, William Zahn and wife, Faye, of Binghamton, N.Y., and Michael Zahn in Lackawana, N.Y.; his daughters, Mary (Mrs. Robert Byrne) of Fort Erie, Eileen (Mrs. Michael Tomasello) of Stevensville, and Barbara Zahn of Welland. He was stepfather of Patricia Rothero of Burlington, Ont. and Linda Rothero of Windsor, Ont. Also surviving are h)XX9other, Keith of London and sister, Wilhelmina, of Massachusetts. His brothers James and Edward predeceased him.
