aged 82 years.

"Sophia Miller, aged 38 years, wife of Jacob MilÂ­

ler of Bertie, died 9 Dec 1838 and was buried 11 Dec 1838" by
the Rector of St. Paul's,

Fort Erie [OHSP 27: 120}. She is buried

in the churchyard, but the inscription on her gravestone

is faint.

Acco rding to the Miller Family Bible, her date of death was 8th
December 1838.

Jacob's Â·will, dated 8 Aug 1861, pro v e d 14 March 1871, names

his wife Sarah; sons John Riselay Miller, William Millï¿½r, EdÂ­
mund Miller and Charles Adolphus Miller; daughters Amelia SoÂ­
phia and Ann Augusta.

Executors were his son Edmund,
