ANNE WOOD of Cambridge Road, Crystal Beach, died in Panama City, Florida, on Saturday, Feb. 25, 1989. She was 69. Born in Winnipeg on May 17, 1919, she lived in this area most of her life and was a former alderman with the Town of Fort Erie Council. She was also treasurer of the Beachcombers senior citizens' group. Mrs. Wood was predeceased by her husband, Charles, in 1983. She is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins in Toronto and Winnipeg. Friends may call at the Williams Funeral Home, 722 Ridge Rd. N., Ridgeway, on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1989, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Rev. Allan Whitton will officiate at funeral services at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 1, 1989. Interment will follow in Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery.
