YOUNG, Helen- of Fort Erie, died Sunday, October 31, 1999, at the Douglas Memorial Hospital, at the age of 74 years. She is survived by her loving son, Bill Young, of Fort Erie, sister, Laura Fininzio and her husband, Jim, and family of Buffalo, brother, Bart Sostomi, and family of Fort Erie, brother-in-law, Jack Young and his wife, Merna, of Toronto, cousin, Mary Kline and her husband, Walter, of Fort Erie. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews from Fort Erie, St. Catharines, Toronto, and Buffalo. She was predeceased by her husband, William Young, and her parents, Harry and Mary Sostomi. The Young family received friends Monday and Tuesday at the Fort Erie Chapel of THE DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOMES, 21 Wintemute Street, where Vigil Prayers were celebrated Tuesday evening. There was also a Legion Service held in the Chapel Tuesday evening. Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, November 3, 1999, 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church with Father Donald Lizzotti officiating. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery Donations in memory of Mrs. Young may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
