Doris Marie Plato, 123 Idylewylde, Fort Erie died at Douglas Memorial Hospital June 11, 1987. Born in St. Anns Oct. 1, 1914 she was a homemaker and a resident here for 55 years. The daughter of the late David and Martha (nee Thomas) Kentle, Mrs. Plato was predeceased by her husband, Arthur and is survived by her son, Clarence (Sam) Plato of Fort Erie; a daughter, Eva (Mrs. Jack Burd) of Port Col borne; five grandchildren: Jeff and David Plato, Gary, Brian and Carol Burd and five great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Eva Moote of St. Catharines and Flossie White of Welland. Mrs. Plato was also predeceased by seven other brothers and sisters. The Rev. Jim Keddy of Bethel Pentecostal officiated the 1 p.m. funeral service in the Fort Erie chapel of the David son Funeral Homes Inc. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.
