About the Summer Reading Club
The TD Summer Reading Club is for kids of all ages, abilities, and interests. Our goal is to engage youth over the summer holidays and set a foundation for lifelong learning and a love of reading. We encourage readers to read often and diversely by exploring new authors, genres, non-fiction, and formats.
Visit any FEPL branch to pick up your Summer Reading Club notebook, stickers, and other fun stuff. Whenever you visit the library over the summer enter weekly draws to win prizes and be sure to check out our summer programming.
Teen Reviews
Need community volunteer hours before you complete high school? Review library material and earn 1 hour per review. Reviews will be published on a blog on the library website and/or used in library promotions. Items must be part of the LiNC collection.
Reviews Must:
- Be approximately 250 words in length
- Contain a summary of the material and critique.
- Not contain spoilers.
- Use appropriate language, deal with sensitive topics tactfully, and be approved by the library.
