What is the YLA?
The Youth Library Association (YLA) is a youth-led committee that gives teens in Fort Erie a voice at the library and in the community.
YLA members help plan youth-focused events, share ideas with library staff, volunteer at community activities, and help shape the library's programs and collections.
What Can I Do?
As a YLA member, you can:
- Help plan events and activities for youth

- Recommend and select books and other materials for the library
- Volunteer at library and community events
- Get involved with activities for kids and teens in Fort Erie
- Earn valuable community service hours
Community Teens Have Chosen…
YLA members have a say in what gets added to the library's collection. Check out the titles they selected and place a hold on your favourites!
